The Direction
Four ideas guide our redesign. The website should be simpler, easier to read, more student focused, and more visual.
Reduce the number of toolbar options and group similar pages together so visitors can find information faster.
Replace large paragraphs with shorter sections, cards, headings, and visuals that are easier to scan.
Make programs, schedules, events, and resources easier for students to access without searching through many pages.
Use images, program cards, impact numbers, and simple animations to show what D.A.D. does quickly.
What We Are Actually Going To Improve
These are the main changes we want to make to the website.
Reduce unnecessary navigation options and keep the most important pages easy to reach.
Break large blocks of text into smaller sections with headings, cards, lists, and visuals.
Create an account area where students can view their profiles, programs, activities, and useful information.
Create a separate account area where teachers can access information and features designed for them.
Add individual teacher pages with a photo, short biography, background, and role.
Create one simple page showing upcoming events, dates, times, locations, and descriptions.
New Ideas We Want To Try
These are extra ideas that could make the redesigned website more useful and interactive.
Make important impact numbers more visible so visitors can quickly understand the organization's work.
Show the next few events directly on the homepage with a link to the complete calendar.
Give each program a card showing what it does, who it is for, and how students can participate.
Keep important actions such as Programs, Register, Events, and Donate visible and easy to access.
