Draft - Dynamic Programming Layers
Authoring skeleton - differentiated CS113 implementation
Short topic and PBL layers
Build on the existing abstract Fibonacci notebook. Treat the Spring Fibonacci area as an inspection candidate, not a verified runnable API.
Implementation layers to author
- A recursive solution with defined base cases.
- Memoization that reuses subproblem results.
- Bottom-up tabulation and a project-related optimization problem.
Evidence checklist to author
Use fixed inputs to compare answers and operation counts. Define invalid-input and overflow policies, and explain time/space tradeoffs. Keep expensive naive-recursion inputs bounded.
Publication checklist
Complete examples, a CodeRunner exercise, and tests before assigning courses.csa.week, removing draft/hide flags, or enabling submissions.
