PLTW Element G, Iteration 2 — Construction of a Testable Prototype, at production grade.
Build the Beta
- Construct the Beta prototype following your Week 18 integration plan and Week 17 selected design.
- Follow production-grade practices: code review before merging, tests for critical paths, a documented build/deploy procedure — the same discipline a real engineering team would use, not just “make it work.”
Fully Integrate All Sub-Systems
- Confirm every sub-system from your integration plan is actually connected end-to-end, not built and tested in isolation only.
Log Build Results vs. Revised PRD
- Run your first Beta test pass and log results against the revised PRD (Element C, Iteration 2) targets — the stricter bar, not the Sprint 1 bar.
- Note where the Beta already beats the Alpha’s Sprint 2 baseline, and where it doesn’t yet.
Core Deliverables
- Working, fully-integrated Beta prototype.
- Production-grade build/deploy documentation.
- First Beta test results logged against the revised PRD.
