Element M: Presentation of Project Portfolio — Night at the Museum

1 min read Assignment

Week 12: Presentation of Project Portfolio — N@tM

PLTW Element M — Presentation of Project Portfolio (Final Presentation to a Panel of Judges).

Finalize the Electronic Portfolio

  • Your Electronic Portfolio is the full, navigable record of Sprints 1-3: problem statement, literature review, PRD, decision matrix, BOM, build procedure, test data, mentor logs, external evaluation, and your Element L recommendations.
  • No paper. Everything lives in your GitHub repo / portfolio site, linked and versioned.

Build the Multimedia Display

  • Prepare a Multimedia Display: your prototype running live if possible, plus a visual summary (poster, slides, or screen loop) of problem → process → results → recommendations.

Night at the Museum (N@tM)

N@tM is your Alpha prototype defense — a showcase where your team presents like a museum exhibit to a panel of judges (mentors, teachers, and/or outside guests) who walk from team to team.

  • Be ready to explain and defend your design decisions to someone seeing your project for the first time — this is the same muscle as the mentor and external evaluation meetings, at higher stakes.
  • Judges will likely ask about your Element L recommendations directly — know what you’d do differently and why.

Core Deliverables

  • Finalized electronic portfolio (Sprints 1-3).
  • Multimedia display (live demo + visual summary).
  • N@tM live defense of the Alpha prototype to the judging panel.
